Chuck Magazine is a biannual arts publication and cultural touchstone for audiences in contemporary Los Angeles and beyond. Founded in 2018 by Achilleas Ambatzidis and Finley Jacobsen, Chuck’s priority has always been platforming conversations on why we create. Chuck’s larger goal is making exciting, world-building arts journalism from Los Angeles, for everyone.

Chuck Magazine currently runs a biannual print program, provides design, event and consulting services to clients and produces highly curated arts related experiences. Chuck was launched to fill the gap between traditional media and modern storytelling. Born and raised in California, the magazine has a global resonance and a contributor base spanning Paris, New York, Greece, Mexico City, London, Nashville and beyond.

In the print program, Chuck’s primary focus is interviewing and platforming artists of all kinds, designing physical objects and related experiences that bring Chuck contributors, consumers and friends closer together in the pursuit of art and connection. Those who consume Chuck content have access to a highly curated and accessible world of art, ideas, and experiences. Through consuming Chuck content, they are opening themselves up to the world CM is forming for them, of art, truth, and creative expression in all of its forms.

Chuck maintains the belief in the power of the artist’s voice to change their world and ours.
